Water Lily

My life and photography are deeply inspired by Eastern spiritual and wisdom traditions. Through mindfulness practice, these traditions help cultivate my awareness, guide my perspective, and deepen my connection to the present moment while shaping my artistic vision. Little wonder that I am drawn to how these traditions interpret nature—not just as something beautiful, but as a teacher of harmony, interconnectedness and impermanence.

In Zen Buddhism, the water lily symbolizes a profound sense of awakening, rising elegantly and untouched from its often murky surroundings - a poignant reminder that we too can transcend life’s uncertainties with beauty and grace.
